BOBBY WHITE.
Former private jet and airline pilot. Sailor. YouTuber. Lifelong traveler. I've spent years going places, meeting people, and getting myself into situations that sound better in hindsight.
Before creating Sailing Doodles, I flew Gulfstream jets around the world—including tours with some very recognizable musicians. A career-ending hemorrhagic stroke changed everything. I spent 11 days in the neuro ICU and faced a difficult recovery, including learning how to read again.
After fighting to regain that part of my life, I decided that rather than feel sorry for myself, I would start something new. I set off sailing and started sharing the journey on YouTube. That became Sailing Doodles—and a whole new chapter of my life.
Here, I can go deeper than a travel video: the behind-the-scenes stories, the hard lessons, and the conversations worth having.
